Thursday 13^th March

We have decided to stick with our plans and move on to our next stop, a campsite called Area Malaga Beach. This site looks more like an Aire but, to be fair, not many campsites would look good after 4 weeks of horrible weather. Our pitch is on the edge of the beach and we are a bit worried about how high the waves might get if the strong winds continue. The drive to get here would normally be special with several long viaducts, every length of tunnel possible and fabulous views inland and out to sea. Today the skies were black, the thunder was loud, the lightning was frequent and visibility was down to about 60m in the worst part! We only have 2 weeks left of our winter break and we are running out of time to get the warmth and the sunshine that we were looking forward to.

Best: We found a shopping centre on our route and had some retail therapy.

Worst: The difficulty in parking at this shopping centre.
