A determined start today (which does not necessarily mean an early start in our World!) Following a quick tidy of the van, we set off on a hike trying to make up for the ‘not so active’ days we have had recently. We climbed the hill behind our campsite and marvelled at how such a large campsite is completely hidden within a few hundred metres in its own little valley. We walked for 90 minutes in a big loop taking us up onto the hill behind us, west towards the road then along this coast road before going back home along the route we used a few days ago. By the end of the day our step count will be nearly 10,000. Paul’s leg needs a work-out to loosen it and then he can manage quite well. However, I do fear that Paul has developed an olive addiction – every time he passes a bowl of olives he eats the whole lot and the concept of sharing is lost! I, on the other hand, am doing quite well and have not had any cake today. What I have had is one of those chocolate dips with tiny breadsticks…..
Best: My invention today was a knickers drying pole. I had run out of clothes pegs so I used our broom handle to thread our knickers on and balanced that on our outdoor dining table.
Worst: Seeing the weather forecast predicting rain for next week.
